Golly, what a long day. I was late to French class again by maybe 15 minutes, and class ended at 12:30 or so. Meanwhile, I had signed up to be a guinea pig for a French test. So, a bunch of us from the class walked over to the testing auditorium after class... hungry of course... our stomaches screamed in anticipation of food during the test. No, it was not that obvious. It was a comprehension (oral and reading) test. 4 hours later, we're out, and I was starving. All that while, I had prepare for "the testing day." i bought me some cinnamon rolls before i went to class (hence the lateness -- there was an old lady in front of me who was taking the longest time getting her money in order. i had to change lanes), but not having any chance of opening it before the test, i had to wait. This would be the second time i signed up to be a "test subject." both time, compensation was offered, but I actually took it this time. That just means I'll be able to rent 7 movies. mwahahahah!!!! Ok, not a good way to spend your hard earned guinea pig money, but whatever. It'll make me happy for a few hours. And to think I didn't take the $20 bucks they offered me for the German test. I did it out of the kindness of my heart! (only becuase i really like Magda, my TA, who was the one testing me, but the results were for someone else)

Holy cow, I was just finished with my entry when I jumped over to somebody's site and discovered that the second law of thermodynamics is not absolute. For years I've believed in the laws of thermodynamic (since G-chem with my first undergraduate research advisor). It has always been a code for me to live by, but alas... I am now disheartened. How can I live now that the law is broken? Hopefully I will survive knowing that the thrid law of thermodynamics (which I interpret as, as my room gets colder, it cleans itself) is not violated.

Happy Valentine's Day people. I will have to say this week really, really aspirates (my labmate forbid me to use the word "suck"), until today. The week started going bad since last sunday, I suppose, and up to Friday it still vacuums! Well, even though I had French class this morning, I felt a lot better. Of course there weren't any buses to take me to the metro, so I walked... but class was funny today, and we got chocolate in class. I had to do a presentation (which of course didn't prepare for until the last minute) and I screwed up the flow, but so far I enjoyed myself for the first 3 hours of my waking state. I'm beginning to like French again. Hopefully it will stay that way. Being p.o.'ed at lingo-phobic people can really turn you off to a language.

Its been a while since my last post. I was getting lazy. Forgot to mention that last week, I put up my wolf page. It's not completely done (no links), but I'll get to it somehow. I was going to put up another page this week, but I guess I got lazy. Instead, I wrote a poem. Which can now be found on another site. I'm currently having problems with my commenting option, and I hope to fix it soon. But, perhaps it just defies working correctly under a stupid dial-up connection.
