Hey hey, I just got out of my french class. This class is maybe 10 students more than the other one I was at last Saturday, but I like it much better. Apparently, I have the same professor as Dani's advance french class. She's quite nice (no screaming, and didn't mind us being late. she even made some jokes about it). I think I might keep the course, but the book is really expensive. Dude, 71$ + 15% tax. Its a pretty good book, but I wouldn't give it that kind of value.
Yesterday, I wasn't very happy when I got up because I realized I wasn't able to do a single experiment this whole week. Class got in the way. Then we went out to lunch, and that made me feel better (i was stuffed). Too bad Dani wasn't there, though. Anyway, I didn't feel very productive and was bummed out the whole day until Steve called me from Finland. And that made it all better. I now realize I have only people with German last names in my phone list (there are only 3 so far).
I went home after that thinking I should get something good to eat, so I went to the store and bought two chocolate éclairs for 4 bucks. geez, those are expensive. but, they were sooooo good, i thought i could eat both of them after dinner. i had a seafood chowder, a mountain of bread, and then the éclair. i wan't able to finish the second one at all and it took me another hour until i can eat my yogurt. man i was stuffed. today i ate the other éclaire (with a glass of milk) for breakfast, to the horror of Simon's mom. She just couldn't believe i can eat something so unhealthy for breakfast. you should have seen her expression. hand on head while shaking head simultaniously. it wasn't as funny as when i ate a sandwhich filled with bbq Doritos. Now that was hilarious!
ok, now to do some work ...

Well its actually tomorrow, but thats when I usually show up on the web when I'm posting not from school. I went to my first session of my french course today. I was 30 minutes late for I thought the class began at 9:30. Geez, I know one of my classes started at 9:30 but I was late for my 9:30 class when I got there before 9:30 and I was late for this class too... Anyway, even though I didn't talk too much in my french class, the professor decided to lower my level. I'm suppose to move to a lower level next week. Like, whatever!!! My pronounciation isn't good, nor my conjugation she says. I've heard worse, but they're not going with me. On the bright side, I'm not going to do the homework (she assigned a lot of homework. does she think this is the only thing i have to do in my whole freaking life?). hahaha. There's something good in this. One person pointed out that maybe she was mad because I was late, but whatever. I guess I'm in a "i don't care mood." besides, she kinda scares me when she tries to correct our grammer and pronounciation. she's pratically yelling at you. the person next to me almost yelled back. hahahaha, it was funny. just try to get me to speak french next time I have a cold and can't really function in any language!!! you'll get my crappy french.
Oh ja, so about my soccer game... the first night was pretty fun. we were creamed 5 to 1, but we had fun nonetheless. did a little freezing out in the snow, and got kicked a lot. i have 5 bruises on my right leg. i should have taken a picture the first day of the bruising. now on the 3rd day, it looks pretty messed up, maybe i should take a picture now hehe. but one of the dudes i kicked (or he kicked me, or we kicked each other) was wearing a brace (shin guard, i believe, but he called it a brace) underneath all them winter clothing. for a moment there i thought i hit his bones and boy they were hard bones. but he fessed up and said sorry for kicking you with the brace at the end of the game.
the second day of soccer was way messed up. again we had a great team with only a few of us (of course me!!!) who didn't really know how to play. we had our star player Nikoccino, Raphael, and Benjamin (and 2 Marcs, and Luke and Eva and Dani) and the other team was from social economics. they were more like anti-social economics because they were pushing and shoving all our players. even the girls from their team were bullies. they also cheated. so we lost again. we still had fun. i guess it was because we had a great group of people. Dani took some pictures, so either link over to her site or I'll upload the pictures she sent me.

Woohoo, I'm officially a doctoral candidate. Today, I paid my tuition and registered as a doctoral student. Man, what a pain in the booty. I had to find this girl at the office of academic affairs, and I went to the wrong booth!!!! So, after I found her, she gave me an enveolpe and it was filled with the stuff I had gotten when I was accepted to Poly and a tuition bill. And the amount was humongous! It was the same as for my master's tuition, but it was supposed to be less than one third of that. So, then the running around again to find the right person to sort out this mess. At the end I paid what I thought I had to pay, but if I ever miss my deadline, the amount indicated will be realized. So, I have to pay as soon as I get the bill to avoid this. So note: 4 months as a master's student, and now a doctoral student. hehehe.
Today we are playing soccer and I forget to bring my ID card. Where in the world did I put my brain this morning. I forget the one stuff I needed. Actually, I also needed to pay tuition and its a good thing I brought my bank card, or my day would be totally ruined!!! Now to eat before the game. Wish us luck. We need to kick some butt, so that we will have more matches to play.

I tried dragging my poetries over so that I can get some comments on it, but it looks funny. Actually looks way too long. Strange huh? Well, there are more pictures now on my site. I've added a lot of pictures from Montreal. There are still a few more in my camera but it hasn't been developed. I haven't finished the roll yet. I should take more pictures.
Oh ja, today was a stupid day. Full of stupidness. I wake up way tooooooooo early, because I thought I had to be at school at 8:30 and shovel the snow, but looks like it was done when I got out, so I got to school on time. The class said 8:30 to 10 and it went til 10:30. Exceeded my attention span by an hour too many. I was a walking zombie... and then I kept losing things. The minute I find one thing, another thing disappears.

Ugh, I feel a bit under the weather today. Sore throat if you must, and sneezing a lot the whole day. I hope I didn't catch a cold. We'll see tomorrow. In two days, we play our first match of soccer on the snow. This will be interesting. I've been here for 4 months now, and I haven't even seen the school gym. I hear the you can use the pool for free. Sure wish I can swim. I would like to do a bit of sports now. Well, I'll look for something else then. Running is insane in this weather -- won't try that. Pilates and yoga is freaking expensive, compared to the nice rates I was getting at the adult schools back in the States. And playing video games on my computer is not considered a sport. I was kicking snowballs on the streets yesterday. That was fun, but too many people on some parts of the streets.

Hi! It's 2:30 AM in frozen Canada, and I am on the net, on dial up. Finally, my new journal entries are linked to my website. I havn't linked the old news, yet... maybe I should. Well, you tell me weather or not you want the old stuff there... but I'll be moving some other stuff, where you can leave comments too. The poetry site will be one like that. It'll be good to have feedback. My new journaling system is all thanks to Kim. She's the best!!! :-) Thanks Kim.

Today will be my first day of blogging for real. I am using dial up to do this. What a dork!!! The school only gives you 20 hours a week... with a connection of 1.5 hours each time you connect. So that would mean I will be kicked off the net very, very soon. This is not linked to my site yet. The site will have to undergone a complete overhaul since I have so many new ideas (well, some.... uh, a few). And since tomorrow will be hella cold, I have time to do it... but if it's not hella cold, then I am going out to do.... uh something... probably buy some food.
